I’m Val,  Trainer, and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Zenith People. I work closely with my colleagues to ensure the safety and well-being of all our candidates. My role involves leading our internal safeguarding team, staying on top of changes, and keeping everyone informed with up-to-date relevant safeguarding knowledge. I make sure all safeguarding information, particularly for apprenticeship programmes, is well-organised and easily accessible, ensuring we follow the correct policies and procedures.

As the first point of contact for safeguarding and welfare concerns, I’m dedicated to keeping our candidates safe and supported throughout their journey. I also lead apprenticeship sign-ups and provide career guidance through school assemblies, one-to-one sessions, and post-programme support, offering advice on CVs, job searches, and career paths.

The safety and well-being of everyone connected with our work is of paramount importance. We are committed to ensuring that our activities do not result in harm, abuse, or exploitation of any kind.
